Earthing equipment for third rail

Application:

  • Earthing equipment for third-rail systems (subway, LRT).
  • For high levels of short-circuit current.


Features:

  •  Earthing device according to IEC 61230.
  • Nominal voltage: up to 750 V DC.
  • High quality insulating tubes (IEC 60855-1).
  • Aluminium jaws on both sides to ensure optimum contact on third rail and running rail.
  • 2 copper cables with silicon sheath.
  • Handling articulated lever.
  • Brass interchangeable parts for contact to the running rail and to the third rail.
  • Magnets on each side for easiness of mounting.
  • Adjusting screw for strong and secure tightening of the system.
