Created in France in 1919, the company CATU develops safety solutions and equipment against electrical hazards for the networks of transmission and distribution of electrical energy.

At the end of the Second World War, thanks to its expertise and numerous partnerships with energy stakeholders, including EDF, the company gained a worldwide reputation. To date, CATU has numerous subsidiaries worldwide and the brand is sold on all continents.

Since 1996, CATU has been a subsidiary of the SICAME Group (www.sicame.com), one of the world’s leading suppliers of power transmission and distribution equipment.
